Carpentry and Joinery is a discipline or course that trained learners on carpentry work. Carpentry and joinery is site work or structural construction e.g. roofing, framework and joinery work which train you on skill of making beds, cabinet work, desk, chairs, tables etc. On completion of this course, a student is awarded with Uganda Community Polytechnic Certificate (CPC).

This course provides you with advances skills in structural work and one is awarded with National Certificate in Woodwork Technology (NCWT).

Motor Vehicle Technology Department

National Certificate in Automotive Mechanics.
NCAM is a full time course that takes the duration of two academic years. The course equip trainees which the skills of motor vehicle maintenance and repair which is so important in the world of work. Trainees who successfully completed the course is awarded with classified National Certificate in Automotive Mechanic by Uganda Business and Technical Examination Board (UBTEB).Graduands of NCAM can further their studies in diploma programme such as Mechanical Engineering, Water Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Agricultural Mechanisation and other Motor vehicle relate courses.
